Some stories deserve to be experienced on an extraordinary scale.

Today, audiences around the world can take their first step into Namit Malhotra's Ramayana with the release of its official trailer. Released globally in five Indian languages, it offers a first look at one of the most ambitious cinematic adaptations ever undertaken.

As a proud VFX & Digital Intermediate partner on the film, ReDefine is honoured to contribute to bringing this timeless epic to the screen alongside Prime Focus Studios, DNEG and Monster Mind Creations. Together, the teams are helping shape a world where storytelling, artistry and technology come together on an unprecedented scale.

Reflecting on the release of the trailer, Producer Namit Malhotra, founder of Prime Focus and CEO of DNEG said:

"The Ramayana is one of our greatest epics. It is woven into how we live, celebrate and pass on our values from one generation to the next. Every year, the Indian festivals of Dussehra and Diwali remind us that its message continues to guide millions through the triumph of light over darkness and righteousness over evil. Very few stories continue to shape everyday life thousands of years after they were first told. The Ramayana does.

Having spent much of my life working across the global film industry, I have always believed that India's greatest stories deserve to be experienced on the world's biggest stage. Today, we finally have the artists, the technology, the craftsmanship and the collective ambition to present this extraordinary cultural legacy to audiences everywhere with the authenticity, scale and cinematic excellence it deserves.

This film marks the beginning of a journey to celebrate India's cultural richness with the world. India has always lived this story. It is now our privilege to share it on a global stage."

We're excited for audiences everywhere to experience this first glimpse into the world of Ramayana.
